Operating instructions for Communication 3.4.
between Control Head and smartphone / pC
note: The following steps are described as an example of the smartphone T-Mobile MDA Compact V
with Windows Mobile 6.1; there may be slight deviations with other smartphones or other versions of
Windows!
switching on the Bluetooth Connection 3.4.1.
Switch on smartphone
→
Click on "Start" (on the smartphone start screen using a stylus)
→
In the menu select
→
Settings,
then select Connections,
here switch on Bluetooth with the "On-Off Switch"
(switch symbol is colored and the Bluetooth symbol is indicated on the upper task bar)
Leave screen via
→
Ready
starting the service program with smartphone 3.4.2.
Switch on smartphone
→
Click on "Start" (using stylus)
→
Check whether Bluetooth activates (Bluetooth symbol visible on the upper task bar)
→
(if not, then switch on Bluetooth - see chapter 3.4.1. Switching on the Bluetooth Connection)
In the Start menu select the smartphone software "

Type8681" to communicate with the control head
(or select from the folder in which the Service Program was saved)
First select the configured COM interface (chapter

3.2.2. Configuring BlueSerial in the Smartphone) /
Connect
After the operator action, leave the Service Program via button
→
X (Close)
starting the service program at the pC 3.4.3.
Switch on PC
→
When using an USB adpater: connect the adapter to the PC
→
before the start of the program
Start software: Start \ Programs \ Buerkert \ PcTool8681 \ PcTool 8681
→
When connecting to the service interface via the usB adapter kit:

- select COM interface (COM X Serial Device Adapter)
- Connect
or
When connecting to the service interface via the Bluetooth adapter kit:
- Check whether Bluetooth activates (Bluetooth symbol visible on task bar)
- First select the configured COM interface (see chapter
3.2.2.)
- Connect
After the operator action, leave the Service Program via button
→
X (Close)
