firmware update (Versions as-i, 24 V, 120 V) 3.4.4.
Switch on PC
→
Start software: Start \ Programs \ Buerkert \ Type8681 \ FirmwareUpdate
→
(for the firmware update the connection to the Service Program at the PC (PC client) has to be discon-
nected - see chapter
2.5 Menu COM: the option �Connect� has to be visible)
Select language
EN - GER
Select a
→
cOm port if not automatically done:
(when connecting to the service interface via the USB adapter kit)
- select the COM interface (�Serial Device Adapter� - see chapter
3.4.3)
- Press button Rescan if COM interface was not updated automatically
Readout
→
device info via button Read if not automatically read out
Search for the new firmware (a MOT file, to deliver by Bürkert) with the button
→
(at the same time will be checked whether the ID file (processor idendentification file) is to be found in the
same folder as the MOT file)
If the new firmware is selected, the button
Update Firmware (ASI/24V/120V) will be provided.
Press corresponding button for
→
Update Firmware - the programm is saving the current device configuration
(If no communication was possible, a firmware update can be only done by the manufacturer.)
After readout of the current data of the control head
→
1. Power off the control head (device) / disconnect from power supply
2. Set the switch from �Komm� to �Prog� at the USB adpater
3. Connect the control head (device) again to the power supply
