Laserpointer / One-Channel Mode / Through-The-Lens Sighting
By pushing the little key at the rear cover or an external contact (between
pin H and pin K) the laserpointer may be switched on (switching
time
≥
60 ms). This function is disabled if the internal temperature of the
device is
≥
50°C. While the laserpointer is active, the emissivity corrected
one-channel temperature is send to the analog output. This simplifies the
device adjustment. At the lower end of measuring range the active laser
can heighten the reading. The one-channel mode is indicated by a red LED
at the rear cover.
The laserpointer is switched off by pushing the key once more or
automatically after about 2 minutes.
A graticule circle in the non-parallax through-the-lens sighting marks the
locality of the measuring spot. All units are fitted up with a eye protection
filter.
Peak memory
Via interface the integrated peak memory can be set to different operating
modes:
At clear time 0.00 the peak memory is switched off, and the current
measuring value is given out.
Clear times 0.01 s, 0.05 s, 0.25 s, 1.00 s, 5.00 s and 25.0 s:
The peak memory operates as a dual memory. After the clear time the
old peak value is replaced by the current one. This brings the
advantage, that a short „cold period“ at the clearing moment doesn't
cause a decrease of the output value. Peak values higher than the
current output peak value, cause an immediate output update.
Clearing external:
In this mode the stored value can be cleared by a contact (between pin
J and pin K; switching time
≥
60 ms) or via interface. The memory
operates as a single memory and clearing resets it always to the current
measuring value.
Clearing automatic:
In this mode the peak memory is cleared, if after a „cold break“ another
hot object comes into the field of view. „Hot“ means a measuring object
with a temperature greater than the lower limit of the subrange plus 1%
of range span.
