7. The PC program "InfraWin.exe"
System requirements
InfraWin.exe runs on all current Windows operating systems and requires
about 1 MB of disk space.
Installation
1. Put the 3,5" disc into drive a: or b: of your PC
2. Chose the option run in the file-menu of the program manager (with
Win95: run in the start-menu of the desktop)
3. Enter a:setup or b:setup and click OK
The operation of the program is completely explained in the online help-
system (menu option "?" or key "F1").
Preparing the communication with the pyrometer
Give 24 V supply to the device with the connecting cable and connect the
9pin connector (if necessary use a "9 to 25" adapter piece) to a serial PC
interface (COM1: or COM2:).
After the start of the InfraWin software, type in the port number, baud rate
and address in window "Options; Computer".
Number of instruments
The program is able to communicate with 1 or 2 devices. For 2 RS232
devices you must use 2 different PC interfaces (e.g. COM1: and COM2:).
RS485 devices may be driven in parallel with the same PC interface, if
their addresses are set to different values.
