Installation
DANGER
Only qualified personnel should conduct the tasks described in
this section of the manual.
2.1 Unpacking the Instruments
1.
Remove the Hach TenSette plus and accessories from the
shipping container.
2.
Inspect each item for any damage that may have occurred during
shipment
3.
Make sure that the voltage of the charger is correct.
4.
Do not send the instrument back without previous arrangement.

2.2 Charging the battery
Important Note: Use only the original Hach TenSette plus charger
and battery.
The pipette battery must be charged before initial use. Connect the
lead of charger to the socket on the back of pipette. Then connect the
charger to an AC wall socket. If the battery is completely empty, it
may take a few minutes before the pipette will turn on. You can use
the pipette while the charger is connected. The charging time is
typically less than one hour. An indicator in the LCD display shows
the charge level of the battery. When the indicator shows empty
battery, pipetting is no more possible, and the pipette has to be
charged again.
