The above user interface appears when a new project has been created. The user interface consists
of the following elements:
 Menu bar The menu bar contains all menu commands of Cam Designer.
‚ Toolbar* The toolbar gives you fast access to the most frequently required menu
commands. The selection of available commands depends on the active
window.
ƒ List of Objects* The list of objects is a dockable window which lists all objects in the active
mode.
For a new project, the system creates a master and a slave axis.
„ Splitter bar The splitter bar separates two windows. Cam Designer has splitter bars
between the worksheet, the time derivations and the list of objects.
Status bar* The status bar describes the action activated through the menu or a button
of the toolbar. The status bar also indicates the coordinates of the mouse
pointer.
† Worksheet The worksheet is used to enter and edit graphical objects.
‡ Time Derivations* The time derivations panel is used to show mathematical derivations of the
objects in the worksheet as graphs or charts.
