Functions provided for working in Interpolation Mode:
View➞ ➞ ➞ ➞ Interpolation Mode Switch to Interpolation Mode (level 3).
Edit➞ ➞ ➞ ➞ Start Calculation Open the Optimized Linear Interpolation dialog box to generate
a table of points:
Proceed as follows:
Number of Points 1. Go to the Number of Points field and select the number of
value pairs between 10 and 1024.
Optimize 2. The following steps are required for the optional
optimisation process:
– Go to the Optimization Steps field and select the
required number of optimisation steps between 1000
and 10000.
– Click Optimize to automatically calculate the optimal
distribution of points with the help of a neuron network
(artificial intelligence).
The progress of the error functions for minimum,
average and maximum errors is shown during the
optimisation process. The aim of optimisation is to
ensure that all three error values are low and more or
less the same.
After the optimisation has been completed, the number
of equidistant points which would be required to achieve
the same quality of movement will be indicated.
OK 3. Click OK to generate the value pairs and close the dialog
box.
File➞ ➞ ➞ ➞ GDC Export... Export the calculated value pairs to Global Drive Control.
