3.7.2 Product specific adaptation of the dispensing system
To better reflect specific product characteristics, the electronic pump control system
regulates the exact amount of output.
The degree of viscosity does not allow a linear increase in output vs. increase in
pump motor speed. To achieve an accurate volume ratio in all speed ranges, the
electronic pump controller regulated the output amount of each pump unit.
It is recommended to adjust the system to match the expected operating range.
Select the desired output rate and measure the amount of parts A and B dispensed,
as described in Section 3.4.
Proceed as follows to determine the adjustment factor for part B:
Example for adjustment factor calculation:
Y: amount of product B discharged 95 ml
X: theoretical amount of product B 100 ml
Formula:
X: (Y:100) = adjustment factor 100/(95:100) = 105 %
• With the dispensing station in ready state, push OK button twice - display indicates
adjustment.
• Use arrow keys to enter desired value.
Arrow key assignment / setting range:
left: -10; right: +10; up: +1;
down: -1; setting range: 20 – 200
• Push OK button to save the setting – display indicates "next menu item". Push
ESC key to leave the operator menu – display indicates Operation.
