Photo Mode : Setting the Capturing Options
Setting the White Balance
The White Balance allows calibration of the picture for accurate colour display in
different lighting conditions. We recommended setting the white balance prior to
any photo capturing.
1. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the Memory
Camcorder.
◆ The Movie Record screen appears.
2. Set the Photo mode by pressing the [MODE] button.
◆ The Photo Capture screen appears.
3. Press the [MENU] button. Move the [Joystick] left /
right to select <White Balance>.
4. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an option, and
then press the [Joystick(OK)].
◆ To set Custom, frame your Memory Camcorder on a
white area (such as a wall), filling the LCD monitor with
white colour. Press the [Joystick(OK)] to set.
Auto
Automatically sets according to the shooting env
ironment.
Daylight
Adjusts the color according to daylight/indoor,
outdoor light.
Fluorescent Suitable for a fluorescent light environment.
Tungsten Suitable for an incandescent light environment.
Custom
Adjusts the white balance based on the shooting
environment.
5. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.
◆ The selected function icon is displayed.
◆ If <Auto> is selected, no icon will be displayed.
[ Notes ]
✤ When taking pictures outdoors, <Auto> setting will allow
you to obtain the best results.
✤ As the lighting condition changes, set the appropriate
white balance before taking a picture.
✤ The subject used for <Custom> should be white colour.
If not, the colour balance will not be natural.
✤ While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the [Record
/ Stop] button will move to Photo Capture mode.

Weißabgleich einstellen
Der Weißabgleich sorgt bei unterschiedlichen Lichtverhältnissen für eine natürliche
Farbbalance. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, den Weißabgleich vor jeder Aufnahme richtig
einzustellen.
1. Drücken Sie die Taste [POWER], um den Speicher
Camcorder einzuschalten.
◆ Der Bildschirm Movie Record (Videoaufnahme) wird
angezeigt.
2. Stellen Sie den Modus Photo ein, indem Sie die Taste
[MODE] drücken.
◆ Der Bildschirm zur Fotoaufnahme erscheint.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste [MENU]. Bewegen Sie den [Joystick]
nach links oder rechts, um das Menü <White Balance>
(Weissabgl.) auszuwählen.
4. Bewegen Sie den [Joystick] nach oben oder unten, um
die gewünschte Option auszuwählen, und drücken Sie
dann [Joystick(OK)].
◆ Zur Einstellung des Custom fokussieren Sie ein weißes
Objekt (z.B. eine Wand), das den LCD-Monitor vollständig
mit weißer Farbe ausfüllt. Drücken Sie [Joystick(OK)], um
die Einstellung zu bestätigen.
Auto
Automatischer Abgleich anhand der
Aufnahmeumgebung.
Daylight
(Tagesli)
Stimmt die Farben auf Tageslicht (innen und
außen) ab.
Fluorescent
(Neonlicht) Geeignet für Beleuchtung mit Leuchtstoffröhren.
Tungsten
(Glühlampe) Geeignet für Beleuchtung mit Glühbirnen.
Custom
(Benutzer)
Einstellung des Weißabgleichs anhand der
Aufnahmeumgebung.
5. Drücken Sie die Taste [MENU], um das Menü zu verlassen.
◆ Das Symbol für die gewählte Funktion wird angezeigt.
◆ Bei der Einstellung <Auto> wird kein Symbol angezeigt.
[ Hinweise ]
✤ Im Allgemeinen erzielen Sie bei Außenaufnahmen mit
der Einstellung <Auto> die besten Ergebnisse.
✤ Bei allen anderen Lichtverhältnissen sollten Sie vor der
Aufnahme die passende Weißabgleich-Option auswählen.
✤ Das für die Einstellung <Custom> (Benutzer) fokussierte
Objekt sollte weiß sein. Andernfalls wird kein neutraler
Farbausgleich erzielt.
✤ Bei angezeigtem Menübildschirm können Sie durch
Drücken der Aufnahme-/Stopptaste in den Modus Photo
Capture (Fotoaufnahme) gelangen.
