5 Fast commissioning with factory setting
The vacuum generator is available with the following factory setting:
· Air−save function on the −CE/−OE: active
· Switching behaviour of the electrical output: Threshold value comparator
· Switching element function of the electrical output: NO (normally open Ĉ contact)

If you do not wish to use the factory setting, you can define a switching point for Out A or Out B as
follows. Switching points can be set manually or taught.
Note
The EDIT button is often used during commissioning to select and confirm values. To
avoid damage to the EDIT button, please actuate it only with a dull object.
1. Switch on the operating voltage.
è The vacuum generator is then in the RUN mode (basic setting).
Note
If you are not sure whether the vacuum generator is in the RUN mode, hold the EDIT
button pressed down for 3 s. The vacuum generator returns to the RUN mode.
