Set the switching point manually
2. Press the EDIT button.
è The EDIT mode is active.
[Out A] flashes.
or
Press the B button in order to set Out B (with −2P and −2N).
è [Out B] flashes.
3. Press the EDIT button twice.
è The segment [SP] flashes.
4. Set the desired switching point by pressing the buttons UP/DOWN.
5. Hold the EDIT button down 3 s.
è The vacuum generator returns to the RUN mode.
Teach the switching point
1. Set the first vacuum (e. g. object grasped or object not grasped).
2. Press first the UP button and then also the EDIT button.
è Ă[A] and [Teach] flash.
The measured value is accepted as teach point (TP1) for Out A.
or
Press first the DOWN button then also the EDIT button (with −2P and −2N).
è [B] and [Teach] flash.
The measured value is accepted as teach point (TP1) for Out B.
3. Repeat points 1 and 2 for the same output.
è The second teaching point (TP2) will then be accepted and the new switching point (SP) will
become valid. The vacuum generator returns to the RUN mode.
The following applies for the threshold comparator:
The new (taught) switching point (SP) is derived from the average value of both teaching points
(TP1,ĂTP2).
Calculation formula: SP = 1/2 (TP1 + TP2)
If both teaching points are the same, the following applies: SP = TP1 = TP2.
