2.3.2 PCM Control Access
By means of “PLC-Settings” > “Password” a password for access to the functions of the Soft-PLC
can be allocated (see also section 4). An additional window is opened.
Instruction Description
Combo-Box Selection of access:
No: No password is required all instructions from the Control Panel will
be executed immediately.
Confirm command: Every instruction from the Control Panel must be
confirmed.
Password: Every instruction from the Control Panel must be confirmed
by entering a password. The password must be stipulated in “New
Password”.
New Password →
Old
Enter the old (current) password. When a password is entered for the
first time, leave this field blank.
New Password →
New
Enter the new password.
Logout automatically Stipulates the time in minutes following which an automatic logout
occurs and subsequently the password must be entered once again.
OK The changes are adopted and the window is closed down
Cancel The changes are discarded and the window is closed down.
