4.2.1 Windows CE modules
The following programs are located on the Windows system:
• Optonal Siemens S7 compatible Soft-PLC, programmable via the Simatic Manager or S7 for
Windows.
• Profibus or Can-Open fieldbus master module with the TCP/IP configuration server
• OPC server for the PLC
• Optional visualisation VisiWinNET
• Web server components for configuration purposes
• Optional IEC 61131-3 compatible Soft-PLC (CoDeSys)
4.2.2 Desktop modules
All Windows CE modules are accessible via a TCP/IP network. The tools required for this
purpose are installed on the desktop system.
• VWOPC Agent for configuration of the OPC server.
• IBH Net for the implementation of the Soft PLC in the Simatic Manager.
• Optional Step 7 data bank browser for importing items from Step 7 projects.
• Sycon / PCM Con for configuring the field bus module.
