Installing the transmitter
The computer, whose signals are transmitted to the console is connected to the
transmitter (DL-Compact-CPU).
Connecting the interfaces on the back panel
The back panel of the transmitter provides interfaces to connect the computer.
These interfaces are described in the following paragraph.
Keyboard:
Use the purple plug of the twin PS/2 cable (Twin-PS/2-M/M-2) to connect
the computer’s PS/2 keyboard interface to this interface.
Mouse:
Use the green plug of the twin PS/2 cable (Twin-PS/2-M/M-2) to connect the
computer’s PS/2 mouse interface to this interface.
K/M USB:
Connect one of the computer’s USB interfaces to this interface. Use the
USB-AM/BM-2 cable for this purpose.
DVI-D dual link:
Connect the computer’s video output to this interface. For this pur-
pose, use the DVI-D-DL-M/M-2 cable.
ADVICE:
Preferably connect the cables to the computer module from left to right.
This way you avoid that already connected cables complicate the connection of
further cables.

NOTE:
Mouse and keyboard signals of the console can either be transmitted to the
computer via the K/M USB USB interface or the Keyboard and Mouse PS/2 interfaces.
NOTE:
The KVM extender either processes dual link and single link video signals.
