Power supply
Connect the supplied power cables to the
Power sockets of the matrix switch and
the user module.
A redundant power supply can be achieved by optionally connecting another
power cable to the
Red. Power interface of the matrix switch.
After the power cables have been connected, the devices can be switched on at the
Power buttons.
Network interfaces
The following network functions are provided using the network interfaces at the
back panel of the matrix switch CATCenter NEO4:
carrying out the network configuration of the matrix switch
authentication against directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS,
TACACS+)
time sync via NTP server
sending log messages to the syslog server
carrying out firmware updates and backups
These functions of the matrix switch CATCenter NEO4 are operated using the web
application Config Panel. They are separately described in the manual of the web
application.
Network configuration
Hint: The IP address 192.168.0.10 is presetted in the default settings.
The network settings have to be carried out in the OSD to reach the matrix switch
in the network.
The required settings are described in the Operating Guide in the chapter Network settings
on page 105 ff.
