Safety instructions

On no account use the lashing strap if:
- there are broken threads or cuts in the thread, especially if the edges
have been nicked or there are other alarming cases of damage
- the labelling is missing or is no longer legible
- there is damage to the connections, or deformation due to exposure
to heat (friction, radiation)
- there is damage due to the effect of corrosive substances.

Never use the ratchet in the event of:
- breaks, cracks or considerable signs of corrosion or corrosion damage
- expansion > 5 % (5 % in the hook aperture or general deformation)
- discernible permanent deformation on load-bearing parts.

The lashing strap may only be repaired if the manufacturer, material
and permissible maximum tensile force data are clearly legible on
the label. Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or
other persons authorised by the manufacturer. The latter must ensure
that the lashing strap, when ready for use after repair, achieves the
original permissible maximum tensile force indicated on the label.

Never exceed the permissible tensile load of the lashing strap as
stated on the label (see also “Technical data”).
