C5) CURRENT OVERLOAD (CONVERTER
THERMAL PROTECTION):
If the frequency converter is constantly
loaded with a current larger than the
one given, or with a current smaller than
the value accepted by the overloading
protection, then the temperature of the
converter cooling element increases and
the current overload protection or converter
thermal protection starts operating.
Possible causes are:
- Under-dimensioned drive. Removing error:
replace the frequency converter with a
stronger one. If the electric motor current
is larger than the one given, the whole
electric motor converter is replaced.
- Frequency of severe operating pace.
Removing error: programme the
intermittence pace and activate the RESET
key on the converter.
