Starting the program
Following installation, select a language (German, French, English, Italian, Spanish) the first time the pro-
gram you start the program. (You can change the language again later.) Then the start page with the start
menu shown below appears:
Open file:
Open a saved file
Save as: Save the values measured for subse-
quent processing
Measurement (colour bars):
Measurement with colour bar display
Measurement (online graph):
Measurement with graphic display
Pyrometer parameters:
Device parameter settings
Computer: Selection of the interface, baud rate
and, if necessary, the PI 6000 address (for RS485)
Table: Analysis of the values measured
or saved in tabular form
Graph output: Analysis of values measured or
saved in a graph
Scanning interval: Times between
measurement sampling
IR computer: Calculated field of view diameter
for different measuring distances
Program controller PI 6000: Control program
preparation and control of the controller
Number of units: Number of units
connected (maximum two)
Close program:
Close the program InfraWin
6.5 Preparation
Before the program is used, the RS232 interface with which the PI 6000 is connected must first
be selected using Computer.

Click this button to open the programming window that is used to prepare the control pro-
gram for the PI 6000.
The overview below shows the programming window with a few example entries and short explanations.
A typical procedure is given in the steps that follow.
