3.2.1.1 Import, backup database, restore database, exit
1. Import
Importing pressure balance data. Via the import of an XML file, a pressure balance
can be inserted into the database as standard (see chapter 6.3.18 “References
(Pressure)”). The XML files are stored online under a file name, e.g. for file name
“50556CPB5000” the XML file is under
http://apps.wika.com/apps/CPB-CAL/50556CPB5000.xml
2. Backup database...
Using this function, the complete database (see chapter 6 “Object manager”) can
be saved in a .bak file. Here a path must be selected for which write permissions
for the database exist. The installed SQL database must be able to access the
selected path.
The permissions of the SQL database are different from the logged-in
Windows user. Experience has shown that a newly created folder, e.g.
“C:\Temp\”, is a good option to save .bak files.
