7. Setup of the models CPU6000
7.1 Setup of the model CPU6000-W
1. Connect the CPU6000-W to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
2. Directly download the driver from the local website and install.

The driver has been correctly installed when, in Windows Device
Manager, by switching the CPU on or off, a COM port appears under
“Connections”.
3. In WIKA-CAL, within “Object manager” under “Workplace”, select the new COM
port under “COM-Port weather station” and save the data record.
The software polls a new value from the CPU6000-W every 10 seconds and every
30 seconds, it stores the current value under “Weather data” in “Object manager”.
In addition, the ambient conditions are updated in the document view and in the bottom
right in the status bar.
