7.3 Setup of the model CPU6000-M
1. Connect the CPU6000-M to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
2. Directly download the driver from the local website and install.

The driver has been correctly installed when, in Windows Device
Manager, by switching the CPU on or off, a COM port appears under
“Connections”.
3. In WIKA-CAL, within “Object manager” under “Workplace”, select the new COM
port under the “COM-Port” of the defined CPU6000-M (multimeter) and save the
data record. The multimeter must first be generated and the work station assigned
(see chapter 6.3.17 “Multimeter”).
4. Set baud rate 9600 and, via the [Test] button, check the communication. The
communication is working properly if a realistic value is displayed.
