Status displays

The LEDs on the front panel of computer and user module enable you to control the

operational status at any time.

Status displays at the computer module

LED

Status

Meaning

K/M

an

CPU input (PS/2 or USB) is active and ready for operation. A local

keyboard was found

.

blinking

CPU input (PS/2 or USB) is active and ready for operation. A local

keyboard was not found

.

flashing

Voltage is provided at the USB input of the computer module but the

computer is not (yet) ready for operation.

flickering Keyboard and mouse inputs are being transmitted to the computer. The

rhythm of the flickering is determined by the inputs of the user.

off

No voltage at PS/2 interface or USB bus.

Main

off

The power switch is turned off or the connection with the mains could

not be established.
Please check if the power cable is properly connected to the device.

on

The main power supply provides the necessary voltage.

Red.

off

The optional power pack is not (properly) connected.

on

The optional power pack is connected and provides the required voltage

(12 Volt).

blinking

Activated setup mode.

cyclic

flashing

The firmware that the update wizard transmitted to the device is being

transmitted to all system components.
This process may take several minutes.

fast

blinking

only -MC4 multichannel variants:

The temperature in the device exceeds the valid values (see page 19) or

the fan is not working.

System ready for operation.

slow

blinking

Defective internal communication.
Restart the device.
