This filing card facilitates the input of settings for the network and the field bus.
Instruction Description
Networkproperties Opens the system window for the purpose of setting the IP address. An
address with a sub-network mask can be entered either manually or
automatically (via DHCP, if available in the network).
Computer Name In this field the computer name is displayed. It can be changed.
Sycon TCP/IP Server
→ Go
Starts the TCP/IP server, in order to establish a connection to the
Hilscher Sycon field bus configuration facility. The active server is
displayed as an icon and can be closed down if it is clicked upon.
Following the successful completion of a field bus download, it closes
itself down automatically.
Check Driversettings Opens the “CIF Device Driver Setup”. This permits the basic address
and the memory capacity of the ISA/PC-104 field bus card which is in
use to be entered via “ISA bus” > “Board Setup”. The default setting is
CC000h and 8 k Byte.
Test Fieldbusmodule Opens the “CIF Device Driver Test Program”. This permits the board (0)
to be selected via “Board Select” and with the assistance of the
additional points a functional test of the incorporated field bus card can
be carried out.
OK The changes are adopted and the Config Manager is closed down.
Cancel The changes are rejected and the Config Manager is closed down.
Apply The changes are adopted and the Config Manager remains opened.
