After confirming the content of the configuration
page, it is possible to continue with the
installation by activating the “Next” button.
It is still necessary to enter the telephone number
and the country code for the connection on the
last page, then the assistant can be closed down
via the “Finish” button.
The newly established dial-up connection will
then be displayed on the configuration page for
the network connections
The establishment of the connection can be
initiated by means of a double click on the
newly set up connection “My Connection”.
Before the connection is established, it is still
necessary to enter the user name and the
password for the remote computer. The dialling
number can be aligned with the requirements of
different locations via “Dial Properties”. The
number finally dialled by the CE device appears
following the text “Phone” and can thus be
checked once again before it is dialled.
After all settings have been completed, the
connection can be established by pressing the
“Connect” button.
A successful dial-in to the remote server is
confirmed by means of the following dialogue.
7.2.2 Tools
Once the connection to the CE device has been established, the current network tools are available
for use.
