Other Important Stipulations:
1. When the leakage values are read in, the valve lift is measured at which the pre-defined p (conveying pres-
sure) is reached, with an overcritical and an undercritical gas expansion being assumed.
A lift ramp from 0-100% is carried out in 30 seconds and stopped at the corresponding pressure for 1
second. From the lift, the leakage quantity is calculated in Nm3/h and saved to memory. For the rest of
the calculation, a conversion into operational data is carried out. The read-in process is stopped when p
> 0.85*p1, or when 100% lift is reached, or when the SELECT or DOWN keys are pressed. If the pro-
cess is cancelled using the SELECT or DOWN keys, the values calculated up until then are valid; the
conveying valve closes.
2. DEFAULT values for code words during parametering and configuration: 9999
3. Empty runs: if the input C11 = 1, the target value vL will be increased by ramping (ramp time tvL), regard-
less of the control status (except in the case of alarm).
4. The actual speed display on the 4040 is v0ist (actual speed at the beginning of the conveying line, with
pipe diameter D).
5. Alarms:
- After each alarm, the operation regulation turns OFF.
6. Operating hours:
- are stored to the EEPROM on an hourly basis.
DEALING WITH MALFUNCTION
NOTE
If conveyance has been stopped by an alarm, the alarm must be reset before the conveyance
can be restarted.
Malfunction
Possible causes
What to do
Conveyance cannot be started
No leakage characteristics available
Read in leakage curve
System in alarm status
Reset alarm
No main pressure
Check main pressure
Alarm 2: Overpressure
Conveyance pipe blocked
Empty conveyance pipe or perform
empty run
Alarm 3: Overcapacity
