The focusing range for the optics (focused to measuring distance a [mm]) is set by factory and should be
taken into account when ordering (special focus distances upon request)!

Types ISQ 5-LO (with fiber)
Depending on the application the instrument will be delivered with a small or a big optical head.
Type I (small optical head): With the very small dimensions the optical head I is
suited for use in confined spaces. The optics is adjusted to one of the measuring
distances mentioned in the table 6.2. The mentioned spot size will be achieved
in exactly this distance (other distances on request).
Type II (focusable optical head): With the focusable optical head II each
measuring distance can be adjusted within the mentioned limits to achieve the
smallest spot size in the required distance. The spot size at the shortest and
longest distance is mentioned in the following table 6.2. Spot sizes at intermedi-
ate distances have to be calculated by interpolation.
Type II (fixed adjusted optical head): The fixed adjusted optical head II has a
similar size as the focusable optical head but with a fixed focusing distance simi-
lar to type I (see table 6.2).
Note:
The optical heads can be changed against each other. A recalibration of the pyrome-
ter is not necessary.

The aperture is the effective lens diameter of the optics. It is depending on the objective length which is changing if the measuring distance
will be adjusted. The biggest aperture value belongs to the fully extended objective, the smallest aperture value if the objective is turned to its
smallest size. Intermediate values have to be interpolated (e.g. calculating the spot size if the measuring distance varies from the adjusted
value).
