Edge position, right edge
The sensor is measuring the outermost edge on the “R”-side inside the measuring range.
No edge inside the measuring range
analog output = 4 mA
An edge inside the measuring range analog output = 4 … 20 mA
Hole reflective tape covered analog output = 20 mA
Analog signal for edge position
The analog signal corespond to the position of the edge inside the measuring range.
Example:
analog output = 12 mA the edge is just in the middle of the measurinig range
analog output = 19.8 mA the edge is nearly at the end on the “R”-side
