9 Setting a new measuring range
The new measuring range must be smaller as the nominal range and must be within the nominal
range. The output current (4 … 20 mA) adapts to the new range.
Example:

< 15 sec
TEACH
until the blinking of the LED
changes from slow to fast

the actual seen length of the
reflective tape is the new meas-
uring range
Nominal measuring range
4 mA 20 mA

Remark:
Keep aware that the length of the
reflective tape has to be longer
than the taught measuring range.
That means you have to adapt the
tape after the teach-in procedure to
the new range.
