Configuring the matrix switch
The matrix switch can either be configured in the on-screen display at the user mod-
ules or by using the graphical user interface of the Config Panel web application.
Initial configuration of the network settings
Configuring the network interfaces
A matrix switch that is integrated into the network can only be accessed after the
network interfaces have been configured.
How to configure the settings of a network interface:
1. After the console has been turned on, the matrix switch asks the user to log in to
the system.
2. Enter the following data to the login box:

Enter
to log in to the system and open the on-screen display.
4. Press
F11
to call the
Configuration
menu.
5. Select the
Network
row and press
Enter
.
NOTE:
A basic requirement to access the Config Panel web application and apply
enhanced network functions is to use the on-screen display (OSD) of the matrix
switch to configure the network settings of the matrix switch.
IMPORTANT:
By default, the
192.168.0.1
IP address is assigned to the
Network A
interface.
NOTE:
Use the administrator account to log in to the system for the first time.
These are the default access data for the administrator account:
Username:
Admin
Password:

IMPORTANT:
Follow the descriptions in the separate user manual to change the
password by using the
Change password
menu item of the Personal Profile menu.

Password:
Enter the password for your user account.
