Recording with Minimised Camera
Shake
(Super Image Stabilizer)
In recording situations where shaking of the Movie Camera is
likely to happen, for example when you have zoomed in on a
distant subject or when you record while walking, you can use
this function to stabilize the image.
≥ In case of very strong camera shake, it may not be possible
to stabilize the picture.

Press the [MENU] Button.
The [CAMERA FUNCTIONS] Main-Menu appears.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [CAMERA
SETUP] and then press the [PUSH] Dial.
The [CAMERA SETUP] Sub-Menu appears.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [SIS].

Press the [PUSH] Dial to select [ON].

Press the [MENU] Button to exit the menu.
The [ [ ] Indication 1 appears.
≥ In a dimly lit place, the Super Image Stabilizer Function may
not work. In this case, the [
[ ] Indication flashes.
≥ If [EFFECT1] on the [DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-Menu has
been set to [GAINUP], the Super Image Stabilizer Function
cannot be used. In this case, the [
[ ] Indication flashes.
≥ Under fluorescent lamps, the picture brightness may
fluctuate and the colours may be unnatural.
≥ After-image distortion may occur.
≥ When you use a tripod, we recommend to turn the Super
Image Stabilizer Function off.
Cancelling the Super Image Stabilizer Function
Set [SIS] on the [CAMERA SETUP] Sub-Menu to [OFF].

In Aufnahmesituationen, wo Kamerawackeln oft auftritt,
beispielsweise bei Tele-Aufnahmen oder beim Aufnehmen im
Gehen, können Sie mit dieser Funktion das Bild stabilisieren.
¡ Bei extrem starkem Kamerawackeln läßt sich das Bild u. U.
nicht stabilisieren.

Die Taste [MENU] drücken.
Das Hauptmenü [CAMERA FUNCTIONS] erscheint.

Den Regler [PUSH] drehen, um [CAMERA
SETUP] zu wählen, und dann den Regler
[PUSH] drücken.
Das Untermenü [CAMERA SETUP] erscheint.

Den Regler [PUSH] drehen, um [SIS] zu wählen.

Den Regler [PUSH] drücken, um [ON] zu
wählen.

Die Taste [MENU] drücken, um das Menü
auszublenden.
Die Anzeige [ [ ] 1 erscheint.
≥ An einem dunklen Ort funktioniert die Super-Bildstabilisator-
Funktion u. U. nicht. In diesem Fall blinkt die Anzeige [ [ ].
≥ Wenn [EFFECT1] im Untermenü [DIGITAL EFFECT] auf
[GAINUP] eingestellt worden ist, kann die Super-
Bildstabilisator-Funktion nicht benutzt werden. In diesem
Falle blinkt die Anzeige [
[ ].
≥ Unter Leuchtstofflampen-Beleuchtung schwankt die
Bildhelligkeit u. U., und die Farben sind möglicherweise
unnatürlich.
≥ Das Wiedergabebild kann u. U. durch Nachziehen gestört
werden.
≥ Beim Einsatz eines Stativs empfiehlt es sich, die Super-
Bildstabilisator-Funktion auszuschalten.
Ausschalten der Super-Bildstabilisator-Funktion
[SIS] im Untermenü [CAMERA SETUP] auf [OFF] einstellen.
