∫ Other Useful Information
LCD Monitor
≥ In places where big changes in temperature occur,
condensation may form on the LCD Monitor. Wipe it with a
soft, dry cloth.
≥ If the Movie Camera is very cold when it is turned on, the
picture on the LCD Monitor is initially a little darker than
normally. However, as the internal temperature rises, the
LCD Monitor regains its normal brightness.
≥ Extremely high precision technology is employed to produce
the LCD Monitor screen featuring a total of approximately
200,000 pixels. The result is more than 99.99% effective
pixels with a mere 0.01% of the pixels inactive or always lit.
However, this is not a malfunction and does not affect the
recorded picture.
Finder
≥ Extremely high precision technology is employed to produce
the Finder screen featuring a total of approximately 166,000
pixels. The result is more than 99.99% active pixels, with a
mere 0.01% of the pixels inactive or always lit. However, this
is not a malfunction and does not affect the recorded picture.
≥ Do not leave the Finder or the Lens aimed at the sun. This
could seriously damage internal parts.
Lens Hood
≥ Never try to attach any conversion lens onto the front of the
Lens Hood; it does not have a threaded mount on the front.
≥ When you want to attach the Tele Conversion Lens VW-
LT3014E (optional), Wide Conversion Lens VW-LW3007E
(optional), MC Protector VW-LMC30E (optional) or ND Filter
VW-LND30E (optional), first remove the Lens Hood. (When
you push the [W/T] Zoom Lever toward [W] after attaching
the filter or conversion lens, the four corners of the picture
may become dark (vignetting effect).)
≥ When you have attached the above ND Filter or MC
Protector, you can also attach the Lens Hood onto it. It may
not be possible to attach other ND filters and MC protectors
to the lens.
≥ If you attach both the ND Filter and a Conversion Lens, the
four corners of the picture may become dark (vignetting
effect).
Shoe Adaptor
¡ If you want to attach the External Microphone (VW-VMS1E;
optional), etc. to the Movie Camera, the Shoe Adaptor (VW-
SK11E; optional) is necessary.
∫ Listening to the Playback Sound via
Headphones
You can connect the headphones in the following 2 ways:
¡ By connecting the headphones to the Headphone
Conversion Adaptor (VW-CH1E; optional) connected to the
[AV OUT] Socket on the Movie Camera. In this case,
disconnect the Output Terminal Box [AV ONE TOUCH
STATION].
¡ By connecting the headphones to the [PHONE] Socket on
the Output Terminal Box [AV ONE TOUCH STATION].
Microphone Socket
¡ If you want to perform audio dubbing via an external
microphone or audio equipment, connect it to the [MIC]
Socket. In this case, the Movie Camera’s built-in microphone
is turned off.

LCD-Monitor
≥ An Orten mit starken Temperaturwechseln kann Kondensation
auf dem LCD-Monitor-Bildschirm auftreten. Wischen Sie ihn mit
einem weichen, trockenen Tuch ab.
≥ Wenn der Camerarecorder beim Einschalten extrem kalt ist,
kann das Bild auf dem LCD-Monitor etwas dunkler sein, als
normalerweise. Beim Anstieg der Temperatur erreicht jedoch
auch der LCD-Monitor wieder seine normale Helligkeit.
≥ Der LCD-Monitor mit insgesamt ca. 200.000 Pixeln wird nach
extrem hohen Qualitätskriterien gefertigt. Das Ergebnis sind
99,99 % aktive Pixel, und nur
0,01 % der Pixel bleiben inaktiv oder dauernd beleuchtet. Dies
ist jedoch keine Funktionsstörung und hat keinen Einfluß auf
das aufgezeichnete Bild.
Sucher
≥ Der LCD-Sucher mit insgesamt ca. 166.000 Pixeln wird nach
extrem hohen Qualitätskriterien gefertigt. Das Ergebnis sind
99,99 % aktive Pixel, und nur
0,01 % der Pixel bleiben inaktiv oder dauernd beleuchtet. Dies
ist jedoch keine Funktionsstörung und hat keinen Einfluß auf
das aufgezeichnete Bild.
≥ Den Sucher oder das Objektiv nicht direkter
Sonnenbestrahlung ausgesetzt lassen, denn dies könnte Teile
im Innern ernsthaft beschädigen.
Sonnenblende
≥ Nie versuchen, irgendeine Vorsatzlinse vorne an der
Sonnenblende anzubringen; sie hat vorne keine
Gewindefassung.
≥ Wenn Sie die Tele-Vorsatzlinse VW-LT3014E (Sonderzubehör),
die Weitwinkel-Vorsatzlinse VW-LW3007E (Sonderzubehör),
den MC-Schutzfilter VW-LMC30E (Sonderzubehör) oder den
Graufilter VW-LND30E (Sonderzubehör) aufsetzen möchten,
müssen Sie zuerst die Sonnenblende abschrauben. (Wenn
Sie den Zoom-Hebel [W/T] nach dem Aufsetzen eines Filters
oder einer Vorsatzlinse gegen [W] drücken, können in den
Ecken und am Bildrand Abschattungen (Vignettiereffekt)
entstehen.)
≥ Wenn Sie den oben erwähnten Graufilter oder MC-Schutzfilter
aufgesetzt haben, können Sie die Sonnenblende darauf
aufschrauben. Es ist u. U. nicht möglich, einen anderen
Graufilter oder MC-Schutzfilter am Objektiv anzubringen.
≥ Wenn Sie sowohl den Graufilter als auch eine Vorsatzlinse
anbringen, können in den Ecken und am Bildrand
Abschattungen (Vignettiereffekt) entstehen.
Schuhadapter
≥ Zum Anschließen des externen Mikrofons (VW-VMS1E;
Sonderzubehör), usw. an den Camerarecorder ist der
Schuhadapter (VW-SK11E; Sonderzubehör) notwendig.
∫ Hören des Wiedergabetons über einen Kopfhörer
Sie können einen Kopfhörer auf die folgenden 2 Arten
anschließen:
¡ Durch Anschließen des Kopfhörers an den Kopfhörer-Adapter
(VW-CH1E; Sonderzubehör), der an die Buchse [AV OUT] am
Camerarecorder angeschlossen ist. In diesem Falle die
Anschluß-Box [AV ONE TOUCH STATION] vom
Camerarecorder trennen.
¡ Durch Anschließen des Kopfhörers an die Buchse [PHONE]
an der Anschluß-Box [AV ONE TOUCH STATION].
Mikrofonbuchse
¡ Um Nachvertonung über ein externes Mikrofon oder eine
Stereoanlage durchzuführen, dieses an die Buchse [MIC]
anschließen. Dadurch wird das eingebaute Mikrofon
automatisch ausgeschaltet.
