∫ Picture-in-Picture Mode
This function lets you display a small still picture inside the
normal picture.
After setting [EFFECT1] on the [DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-
Menu to [P-IN-P]... (

Press the [MENU] Button.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [MULTI-
PICTURES] and then press the [PUSH] Dial.
The [MULTI-PICTURES] Sub-Menu appears.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [P-IN-P] and then
press the [PUSH] Dial to select the desired
position (
1 , 2 , 3 or 4 ) where you want to
insert the small picture.

Press the [MENU] Button to exit the menu.

Aim the Movie Camera at the scene that you
want to capture and insert as a small picture
and press the [P-IN-P] Button.
The small still picture appears inside the normal picture.
Making the Small Picture Dissapear
Press the [P-IN-P] Button.
≥ It is not possible to use the Picture-in-Picture Mode when
[PROGRESSIVE] on the [CAMERA SETUP] Sub-Menu is
set to [ON].
≥ When you use the Camera Search Function or Recording
Check Function, the small picture disappears. (However, it
appears again after the Camera Search or Recording Check
has finished.)
≥ It is possible to record the picture with the small picture
inside in the Photoshot Mode. (However, it cannot be
recorded in the Progressive Photoshot Mode.)
≥ Turning the Movie Camera off erases the small picture being
displayed inside the normal picture.
≥ To record in the Picture-in-Picture Mode, press the
Recording Start/Stop Button or the [PHOTO SHOT] Button.

Mit dieser Funktion können Sie ein kleines Standbild in das
normale bewegte Bild einblenden.

Die Taste [MENU] drücken.

Den Regler [PUSH] drehen, um [MULTI-
PICTURES] zu wählen, und dann den Regler
[PUSH] drücken.
Das Untermenü [MULTI-PICTURES] erscheint.

Den Regler [PUSH] drehen, um [P-IN-P] zu
wählen, und dann den Regler [PUSH] drücken,
um die gewünschte Position (
1 , 2 , 3 oder 4 )
zu wählen, an der Sie das Standbild einblenden
möchten.

Die Taste [MENU] drücken, um das Menü
auszublenden.

Den Camerarecorder auf das Motiv richten,
welches Sie festhalten und als kleines
Standbild einblenden möchten, und dann die
Taste [P-IN-P] drücken.

Bild eingeblendet
Löschen des kleinen Bildes
Die Taste [P-IN-P] drücken.
≥ Es ist nicht möglich, den Bild-im-Bild-Modus zu wählen,
wenn [PROGRESSIVE] im Untermenü [CAMERA SETUP]
auf [ON] eingestellt ist.
≥ Beim Einsatz der Funktion Kamerasuchlauf oder
Aufnahmeprüfung verschwindet das kleine Bild. (Sobald der
Kamerasuchlauf oder die Aufnahmeprüfung beendet ist,
erscheint es jedoch wieder.)
≥ Es ist auch möglich, das Bild mit dem eingeblendeten
kleinen Bild als Standbild im Photoshot-Modus
aufzunehmen. (Es kann jedoch nicht im Progressive
Photoshot-Modus aufgenommen werden.)
≥ Beim Ausschalten des Camerarecorders wird das kleine im
normalen Bild eingeblendete Standbild gelöscht.
≥ Um im Bild-im-Bild-Modus aufzunehmen, die Start-/Stopp-
Taste oder die Taste [PHOTO SHOT] drücken.
