While holding the cover away from the wing slightly, turn on
the radio system. Move the flap switch to the UP position, then
check the fit of the cover to the wing. When the cover is in
position, the flap will be in the UP position. Adjust the linkage
as necessary to set the linkage length. Once set, tighten the
nuts against the clevises and slide the tubing over the forks
of the clevises.
Halten Sie die Abdeckung etwas von der Tragfläche weg
und schalten die Fernsteuerung ein. Schalten Sie die
Klappen auf -eingefahren- und prüfen dann die Passung der
Abdeckung in der Tragfläche. Justieren Sie falls notwendig
die Gestängelänge. Drehen Sie nach der Einstellung die
Muttern als Sicherung gegen die Gabelköpfe und schieben den
Silikonschlauch über die Gabelköpfe.

Do not fit the cover to the wing before turning on
the radio system. If the linkage is too short, damage
could be caused to the servo or flap control horn.

Schrauben Sie nicht vor dem Einschalten
der Fernsteueranlage die Abdeckung fest.
Sollte die Abdeckung zu kurz sein könnte das
Servo oder Servohorn beschädigt werden.

Prepare and install the hinges in the rudder at this time, following the same procedure as the elevator and aileron hinges. Note
that the top hinge for the rudder has been trimmed shorter than the remaining hinges. Position the hinge so the pin is aligned
with the center of the control surface radius. Each hinge must be positioned individually, as the radius changes along the length
of the control surface.
Bereiten und montieren Sie die Seitenruderscharniere auf die gleiche Weise wie die Höhen- und Querruderscharniere vor. Bitte
beachten Sie dass das oberste Scharnier etwas kürzer ist. Positionieren Sie das Gelenk so, dass es sich in der Radienmitte
befindet. Jedes Scharnier muß einzeln ausgerichtet werden da sich die Radien entlang der Ruderkante verändern.

Failure to position the hinges correctly can result in binding of the control surface or limited control throw.

The hinges are glued into the movable surface first so they can be correctly positioned.
Once the epoxy has cured, the hinges are then glued into the fixed surface.

Secure the servo cover to the wing using four M2.5 x 10 self-
tapping screws.
