Separate the elevator from the stabilizer. Note the two hinges
toward the root of the stabilizer have been trimmed to provide
clearance for the stabilizer tube inside the stabilizer.
Trennen Sie das Ruderblatt vom Höhenruder. Bitte beachten
Sie, dass zwei Scharniere (siehe Markierung) gekürzt sind um
nicht innen gegen den Leitwerksverbinder zu stoßen.

Position the hinges such that, when deflected, they are
perpendicular to the hinge line of the control surface.
Richten Sie die Scharniere so aus, dass sie im
eingeschlagenen Zustand rechtwinklig zum Ruder stehen.

Position the hinge so the pin is aligned with the center of
the leading edge radius. Each hinge must be positioned
individually, as the radius changes along the length of the
control surface.
Richten Sie die Scharniere so aus, dass jeder Drehpunkt in
der Mitte des Radius steht (siehe Abbildung). Jedes Scharnier
muß hier einzeln angepaßt werden, da sich der Radius
entlang des Ruderblattes ändert.
Î Failure to position the hinges correctly can result in
binding of the control surface or limited control throw.
Î Falsches Ausrichten der Scharniere
kann zum klemmen des Ruders oder zu einem
eingeschränkten Ruderweg führen.

Fit all the hinges in the control surface, checking their
alignment. Make any adjustments necessary to correctly
position each hinge.
Stecken Sie alle Scharniere in das Ruderblatt und prüfen die
Ausrichtung.

Use a toothpick to apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to
the flex point of the hinge to prevent epoxy from entering the
hinge.
Geben Sie mit einem Zahnstocher eine kleine Menge Vaseline
auf das Scharniergelenk damit es vom Epoxy nicht festgeklebt
werden kann.

Apply epoxy to the outside of the hinge using a toothpick.
Install the hinges and allow the epoxy to fully cure before
proceeding.
Geben Sie mit einem Zahnstocher Epoxy auf die Aussenseite
des Scharnieres. Setzen Sie das Scharnier ein und lassen den
Klebstoff vollständig trocknen bevor Sie fortfahren.
