Slide the cowling into position. Trim the cowling to clear the
nose gear and the carburetor when a gas engine has been
installed. Slide the spinner backplate on the engine shaft,
then the propeller. Secure the propeller to hold the backplate
in position. Set a 3/32-inch (2mm) gap between the cowl and
spinner, then tape the cowl to the fuselage.
Schneiden Sie die Öffnungen für das Bugrad und den
Vergaser zurecht wenn der Motor eingebaut ist. Setzen Sie
die Spinnerrückplatte auf die Motorwelle auf und dann den
Propeller. Schrauben Sie den Propeller fest. Der Abstand
zur Motorhaube sollte 2mm betragen. Sichern Sie dann die
Motorhaube mit Klebeband am Rumpf.

Mount the muffler and trim the cowling to clear. The cowling is
held in position using the screws listed.

Reattach the backplate and propeller. The spinner adapter can
be installed at this time. Make sure to use a box wrench when
tightening the nuts.
Montieren Sie wieder die Rückplatte und den Propeller. Der
Spinneradapter wird jetzt ebenfalls montiert. Ziehen Sie die
Schraube mit einem Ringschlüssel an.

Use a pin vise and a 5/64-inch (2mm) drill bit to drill four
holes for mounting the cowling. Plywood doublers have been
installed in the fuselage at the intended cowl screw locations.
Bohren Sie mit einem 2mm Handbohrer 4 Befestigungslöcher
für die Motorhaube. Im Rumpf sind dazu Sperrholzunterlagen
an den entsprechenden Stellen geklebt.

Two additional screws can be located on
the bottom of the fuselage. These locations
have been provided as an option.

Attach the spinner to the engine. Make sure the spinner
cutouts do not contact the propeller blades.
Montieren Sie den Spinner. Bitte stellen sich sicher dass die
