9.3.2 Performing a dry adjustment

Via the dry adjustment, the values for the start of the measuring range and the end

of the measuring range are entered manually. The respective output signal can be

adjusted.

Requirement No measurement is running. If there is a running measurement, the

output signal can alter abruptly.

Setting range Start of measuring range: -10 ... +110 % of measuring range

End of measuring range: 1 ... 120 % of measuring range

Max. turndown: 100 : 1 (recommended max. 20 : 1)

1. Open the operating menu with [↵].

Select “Basic setting” and confirm with [↵].

2. Select “Scale setting” and confirm with [↵].

3. Select “Dry adjustm.” and confirm with [↵].

4. Define the start of measuring range or end of

measuring range:

To define start of measuring range:

Confirm “min. adjustm.” with [↵].

To define end of measuring range:

Confirm “max. adjustm.” with [↵].

5. Change digit using [▲] [▼] and confirm with [↵]. The

cursor moves to the next digit. Repeat for each digit.

When the last digit is exited, the cursor moves to the

output signal (step 6).

6. Change digit using [▲] [▼] and confirm with [↵]. The

cursor moves to the next digit. Repeat for each digit.

When the last digit is exited, the menu moves back

to step 2.

With the input of current values that are

not either 4 mA or 20 mA the pressure

value is converted into the standardised

current signals as soon as the current

value entered is accepted.
