For saving a measurement under its existing name and directory, use the Save
command.
After having determined the exact parameters of the measurement, e.g. by changing the
oven settings or creating a tolerance curve, you can also save this measurement as a
template, i.e. without any measurement values. For this purpose, use the Save as
command in the Template menu.
The Save as Dialog Box
The following options allow you to determine the name and directory of the file you want to
save:
File Name
Enter a new file name to save a measurement under a different name. File names can
have an additional file extension of up to three characters. temp-chart will automatically
add the extension of the format you have chosen in the field File format.
Drive
Select the drive where you want to save the file.
Directory
Choose the directory in which you want to save the file.
Network...
Use this button to mark a network drive.
The Command Save visible section in the File Menu
With the help of the Save visible section command, the visible section of a
measurement can be saved as an independent file or partial measurement. Since this
process cannot be undone, you must save the selected part under a new name and
directory in the Save as dialog box.
