The Command Save in the Template Menu
Use this command to save the active template under its current name. When you are
saving an “empty template” for the first time, temp-chart will open the Save template as
dialog box where you can determine a name for it. If you want to change the name of an
existing template or save a measurement with set parameters as a template you can also
use the command Save template as.
The Command Save as in the Template Menu
Use this command to save the active template and determine a name for it. For this
purpose, temp-chart will open the Save template as dialog box. The storage location for
templates is preset by the software and cannot be changed.
You can also use this command to save your active measurement as a template, i.e. with
all the parameters but no measurement values.

You can either select the name of an existing template and overwrite it after confirming the
operation, or enter the desired name in the input box.
The name of the template will be saved on the temp-gard SRAM card so that it can be
automatically allocated when the measurement values are read. Please note that the
name may not consist of more than 30 characters.
