Although this command may help to fix destroyed cards, you should be very careful with it
as the use of such cards increases the risk of DATA LOSS.

The Command Read data in the Hardware Menu – Paqs and Logger

Use this command to read data resp. temperature curves, which are saved on a
datalogger connected to the serial interface of your computer.

For reading data from a temp-gard SRAM card, please use the command read data in
the hardware menu– temp-gard.

Connect your instrument to the serial interface of your computer and execute the
command.

If the instrument responds and the data are correctly transmitted you can choose a
template which should be as similar as possible to the data so that you will not have to
enter the same data values again for each new measurement. The important data,
however, such as number of sensors, sampling rate and trigger mode, are taken over by
the instrument.

All mistakes you might possibly make here can be undone. Just select a template, which
you think is pretty similar. If necessary, you can make changes any time you like.

After reading the data, the Save as dialog box will automatically appear to ensure that the
data values are really being saved on your hard disk. Please enter a practical name here
for your measurement so that you will be able to quickly find it again later.

The software will automatically suggest a name and directory for the measurement.
Please check if they suit your method of working and change them if you do not like the
suggestions.
