3 Network Connection – Initial IP Configuration
You can establish the network settings for your CATCenter X8 in the
NETWORK submenu to make the CATCenter accessible via the network.
To do so, log on using the administrator login name and password. This
password can be found in
Chapter 6.
Then press the F11 key in the SELECT menu that opens. The
CONFIGURATION menu opens. In the CONFIGURATION menu, use the UP
ARROW and/or DOWN ARROW keys on your keyboard or your mouse to
select the entry Network and then press the ENTER key. A submenu opens
allowing you to establish the following settings:

Global
Network A
Network B
ESC
You can establish the following settings in this menu:
• The gateway used to access the CATCenter X8.
• The IP addresses and Network A & Network B (found at the back of
the CATCenter X8).
In addition, you can use do this settings with the toolware "CATCenter Xview"
included in the scope of delivery (see the
CATCenter Xview Manual ).
Press the ESC key to exit this menu.
