Connection cable for CPT6000

reference pressure sensor

4.4.1 Connection of the model CPT6000 reference pressure sensor

CAUTION!

Only use model CPT6000 reference pressure sensors! Using other

sensors could damage both the ProcessCalibrator and the reference

pressure sensors.

Switch the ProcessCalibrator off before changing sensors.

Before switching the ProcessCalibrator on, connect the sensor,

otherwise it may not be correctly identified by the instrument.

When the CPH6000 is switched on, the CPT6000 reference pressure

sensor must be mounted in the position in which the measurements

will be made and must not be under pressure, but rather should be at

atmospheric pressure.

For gauge or relative pressure sensors, there is a pressure-equalising

vent in the top of the sensor under the plastic cover. This vent (with

integrated membrane) must always remain clear!

CAUTION!

Only ever use the original WIKA connection cable in the operation of

CPT6000 reference pressure sensors.

4.4.2 Electrical connection of the CPT6000 reference pressure sensors to the

CPH6000

1. Standard electrical connection

The CPT6000 reference pressure sensor is connected electrically to the CPH6000 via

an M12 x 1.5 circular connector with screw-fastening.
