6.3 Functional and operational description
At first, only turn on the voltage supply. The input configuration is indicated on the
display for approximately 3 seconds, the assigned end value is visible on the SV display.
During this time, all outputs and control displays are switched off.
Afterwards, the actual value is shown on the PV display and the alarm value is shown
on the SV display. Now all settings can be carried out in accordance with chapter
6.4 “Parameterisation”.
After parameterisation, switch off voltage supply and wire the sensor, thermocouple or
the resistance thermometer. Voltage supply may only be switched back on after wiring.
With the input configuration 4 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 20 mA, the included 50 Ω measurement
shunt must under all circumstance be connected to the terminals 18 and 19.
