6. Commissioning, operation
6.4.1 Auxiliary parameter level 1
In order to configure the auxiliary parameter level 1, first press the ▽ key and additionally
the MODE key for 3 seconds. To switch to the next parameter, press the MODE key once
agian. After setting up the final parameter, exit the menu by pressing the MODE key.

Locking level
Prevents adjustments of parameters. Which parameters are locked
depends on the locking level selected:
(unlocked):
All parameters can be adjusted.
(Locking level 1): No parameters can be adjusted.
(Locking level 2): Only the alarm values can be adjusted.
(Locking level 3): All parameters can be adjusted. However,
the settings of the auxiliary parameter
level 2 are not permanently saved in the
instrument.
After switching off the power supply,
the old settings are reactivated once
switched on again.
Locking level 3 should be activated when operating with a serial interface
to prevent a constant overwriting of the EEProm
unlocked
Sensor correction

Input of the value for sensor correction.
■
Setting range: -100.0 ... +100.0 or -1,000 ... -1,000 °C (°F)
Corrects the input signal of the connected sensor. If the sensor cannot
be placed where a control is to be carried out, the measured temperature
can deviate from the temperature to be controlled. With the help of sensor
correction, an alignment can be made. Furthermore, it is possible to
compensate for deviations in the temperature sensor, which are detected
during a calibration.
