Display Name, function and setting range Factory setting
HOLD function
■ Not available if the serial interface [C5] option is available.
■ 3 types of the HOLD function can be selected.
HOLD:
The current actual value at the time of activating the HOLD function
is recorded and indicated.
Maximum HOLD:
The maximum actual value that occurs at the time of activating is
recorded and indicated.
Minimum HOLD:
The minimum actual value that occurs at the time of activating is
recorded and indicated.
Activation of the HOLD function
The HOLD function is activated by short-circuiting the terminals 14 and
17. If the terminals are interrupted, the digital indicator returns to the
normal display and the held value is deleted.

Scale range for input DC or DC power supply
(scaled start value - measuring range x 1 %) to
(scaled end value + measuring range x 10 %)
If the measuring value is outside of the range -1999 ... 9999, the PV display will flash
or even if the actual scale range in accordance with the definition has
not yet fallen below, or exceeded it.
Automatic cold junction compensation (only with thermocouple input)
The temperature at the connection terminals for the thermocouple is measured and an
automatic cold junction compensation is executed in relation to 0 °C (32 °F).
