6.2.2.14 USB SUN Keyboard layout
After activation of the USB SUN Keyboard mode (see above) you can use this
menu item to select the keyboard layout of the SUN keyboard.
If you experience that german umlauts and other language-specific characters
are without correct output at screen, check this adjustment and modify if
necessary.
The following options are available:
 DE: German keyboard layout
 US: American keyboard layout
If the adjustment of the keyboard layout is modified during the operation of the
SUN computer, a restart of the SUN computer is necessary, in order to apply
the modified adjustment.
At default modifying of this adjustment is not possible, because the support for
USB SUN keyboards is deactivated.
6.2.2.15 Temperature Warning
Both the user module (CATVision-CON) and the computer module (CATVision-
CPU) provide temperature sensors. The temperature within the devices is
permanently monitored.
To prevent the modules from overheating, the following actions are performed
when the stated values are achieved:
 60 °C: The modules show the increased temperature values in the OSD or as
display popup (see below).
 80 °C: The image signal is disabled at the user module!
Important: If the computer module disables the image signal due to the increase
of temperature, the connected computers cannot be controlled or operated
remotely! Cool down the heated module immediately after the warning has been
displayed on your screen!
The warning is displayed at
both modules after the temperature of one of the
modules reaches a critical value. The warning states whether the overheating
affects the user module (remote unit) or the computer module (local unit).
Important: There is no warning if the temperature of the second module
reaches a critical value while the first module also provides increased
temperature values!
