Changing the hotkey
If many application programs with key combinations are operated on a computer or
if different devices are used in one cascade, the number of available key combina-
tions might be restricted.
If an application program or another device uses the same hotkey within the cas-
cade, the hotkey can be changed.
How to change the current hotkey:
NOTE: Select your desired key or key combination from the keys Ctrl, Alt, Alt Gr,
Win or Shift.
Setup
mode
1. Press the key combination Hotkey+Backspace (default: Ctrl + Backspace ) to
enable the setup mode.
If the hotkey delay is active, press the key combination during the adjusted time (default:
7 seconds).
2. Select your desired key or key combination from the keys Ctrl, Alt, Alt Gr,
Win or Shift.
To combine these keys, press and hold a key while you press and hold another key.

1. Click on KVM Extenders > [All Extenders] in the tree view.
2. Double-click the computer module of the KVM extender to be configured.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Use the row Hotkey modifier in the Configuration paragraph to select at least
one of the mentioned modifiers (Ctrl, Alt, Alt Gr, Win or Shift) by clicking the
particular box(es).
5. Click OK to save your changes.
