Editing a session profile
How to edit the settings of a session profile:
1. Select the profile to be edited in the Session paragraph of the login mask and click Edit .
2. Check and change the entered data of the session profile:
3. Optional: Click Advanced if you want to make specifications regarding input mode,
operation, encryption and/or bandwidth (see page 13).
4. Click OK to save the new session profile or discard your changes by clicking Cancel .
Deleting a session profile
1. Select the profile to be deleted in the Session paragraph of the login mask and click
Delete .
2. Check the information in the security request and click Yes to delete the session
profile or Cancel to cancel the process.
Session name: Name of the session profile
IP address/name: IP address of the G&D device
If the name has been resolved via a DNS server, enter the
name here.
Port: Port number (default: 27998) through which the commu-
nication to the G&D device is established
Hotkey selection: Key combination to call the control panel (see page 19) during
a session:
 Ctrl+Shift: key combination Ctrl + Shift
 Alt+Shift: key combination Alt + Shift
 Ctrl+Alt: key combination Ctrl + Alt
Open Access
console:
Activate this option if the virtual console is operated in
the Open Access operating mode.
In this case you are not required to enter your username and pass-
word to establish a connection.
