WIKA Operating Instructions CTD 9300 Rev. 1

Temperature Dry Well Calibrators CTD 9300
6. Appendix

GB

The calibrators CTD 9300 are portable units that can be used as
flexible devices for service purposes on site as well as for
operational and laboratory tasks.
If possible, transport the calibrator in its original transport case.
The robust case is tailored to the dimensions and weight of the
calibrator and protects it against environmental influences such as
impacts, shock, dust, splash water and external damage.
Always wait until the device has dropped below the block
temperature of 30 °C before packaging it.

6.2

Storage

The CTD 9300 must be stored in a dry place protected against dust
accumulation. The ambient temperature for storage must be
between -10 °C and +80 °C.

Care and Maintenance

Always keep the CTD 9300 clean and never leave them in dusty or
humid rooms.
Clean the calibrators after using them. Disconnect the power plug
before cleaning them and make sure that the block temperature is
below 30 °C.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. Use a slightly humid,
lint-free cloth instead.
Prevent errors of measurement by keeping the block bores clean at
all times. Do not use any filling media for performing
measurements.
